Malaysia to Get Offshore Natural Gas Compression Module

Jun. 21, 2005

Tokyo, June 21, 2005 – 花蜜直播app, Ltd. announced today that it has received an order for an offshore natural gas compression module for the Baram South Development Project spearheaded by Petronas (Petroliam Nasional Berhad), the state-run oil company of Malaysia. The order, which includes engineering services, production of three compressors, installation and test run, came through a Malaysian subsidiary of Sojitz Corporation, Sojitz (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. The delivery is scheduled for May 2006.

The compression module includes a compressor, driver, gas cooler, scrubbers, valves, controllers and other equipment. It will enhance crude oil production by pressurizing and returning natural gas to the earth at offshore platforms or at newly developed oil wells. The module's compact size enables optimum installation in the limited space on offshore platforms near Lutong in Sarawak Province, Malaysia.

花蜜直播app is one of the few compressor manufacturers that supply gas compression modules. The order came as a result of 花蜜直播app's reputation as a reliable supplier of modules in India and Southeast Asia. Six units have been supplied to Malaysia since the first delivery to Sabah Shell Petroleum Co., Ltd. in 1983. This marks the 48th order.
