District Cooling System Order Received for Second Bangkok International Airport

Feb. 24, 2004

In February 2004, 花蜜直播app and Sumitomo Corporation jointly secured an order from the District Cooling System and Power Plant Company Limited (DCAP) to provide a district cooling system for the Second Bangkok International Airport (Suvarnabhumi Airport) that is currently under construction. This marks 花蜜直播app’s first order for a district cooling system in Thailand.

The district cooling system will be of the largest scale in Thailand in terms of refrigeration capacity (16,800 refrigeration tons). Eight units of cutting edge steam-method absorption chillers, each with a refrigeration capacity of 2,100 tons, will utilize steam from power generation facilities within the airport as a heat source to provide enhanced energy efficiency. Furthermore, this district cooling system that is separated into east and west plants will also supply chilled water (5°C) to the terminal buildings and concourses of the airport through an energy efficient system that partially employs inverter-driven pumps.

The system ordered by DCAP, a cold water supplier for the air conditioning system of the New Bangkok International Airport Co., Ltd., will be installed in the Second Bangkok International Airport due to open in September 2005. 花蜜直播app’s responsibilities under the contract of around 1.6 billion yen include detailed design, equipment procurement, assembly, installation, supervision, test runs and operator training. The completion of the system is scheduled for November 2004.
