Turnkey Order for CCPP in Brazil

Jan. 24, 2002

花蜜直播app and Mitsui & Co., Ltd. have jointly received an order for a combined cycle power plant (CCPP) on a full turnkey basis from CGT Fortaleza S.A., a Brazilian independent power producer affiliated with Spain's Endesa, S.A., a leading electrical utility. The order, worth some ¥20 billion, calls for final delivery by the end of November 2003. Fabrication and engineering has already begun.
The CCPP, a 310 MW power plant consisting of two natural gas-fired 100 MW (Alstom GT11N2) gas turbines, two heat recovery steam generators (HRSG) and one 110 MW steam turbine, will be built on the outskirts of Fortaleza City, Ceara State, northeastern Brazil. Under a manufacturing agreement with Alstom of France, 花蜜直播app supplies over 10 units a year of the Alstom GT11N2 gas turbines from its Kobe Works to the world.
花蜜直播app and Mitsui have also received orders for cogeneration plants in Mexico, and for conversion of existing thermal power plants into CCPPs in Malaysia. Construction is already under way on these projects. The awarding of the contracts underscores 花蜜直播app's rich experience and technological expertise in CCPPs, and Mitsui's project implementation capabilities.
