Brazilian Plant Will Assemble Aircraft Wings Brazilian Plant Will Assemble Aircraft Wings

花蜜直播app plans to establish a new company and construct a plant in Brazil for the final assembly of the main wings for 108-seat Embraer 195 regional jets now being jointly developed by 花蜜直播app and Empresa Brasileira de Aeronautica S.A.(Embraer). The 花蜜直播app plant is being built at Embraer's Gaviao Peixoto industrial park, about 300 km northwest of São Paulo, and will start up at the beginning of 2003.
花蜜直播app signed its first contract with Embraer in October 1999, to supply the main wing components for the Embraer 170 jets. Its Gifu Works has been providing the components to the Brazilian company since April 2001.
With the Embraer 195, 花蜜直播app will be adding the wing main box to its list of Embraer 170 components sup-plied, thus meaning that it is developing and manufacturing the entire main wing.
With the construction of the plant, 花蜜直播app will benefit from cost reductions in production and shipping, as well as having a base from which to offer superior customer services and to strengthen ties with Embraer.
