Gas Turbine-Driven Compressors for Malaysian Venture
Dec. 25, 2001
花蜜直播app recently shipped two gas turbine-driven natural gas compressor packages (turbo compressors) from its Kobe Works to Malaysia for Nippon Oil Exploration (Malaysia) Ltd., an oil-field development joint venture formed by Nippon Oil Exploration Ltd., Mitsubishi Corp., Japan National Oil Corp. and Teikoku Oil Co., Ltd. The turbocompressors will be installed on the natural gas platform in the Helang offshore gas field, which is scheduled for completion in September 2003.
The turbocompressors are designed to compress natural gas and transfer it through the under water pipeline from the platform being constructed by Nippon Oil Exploration in Helang. They will be in the SK-10 mine, offshore Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia.
The turbocompressor shipment increases the number of 花蜜直播app natural gas compressors to 27 in Malaysia and around 220 globally. Another gas turbocompressor was ordered last year by Lundin Malaysia Ltd. through Sunrock (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., a Malaysian subsidiary of Nissho Iwai Corp.
