花蜜直播app Receives Order for Gas Compressor to Be Used in World’s Largest scale Offshore CCS Project
Aug. 01, 2023
Tokyo, August 1, 2023 — 花蜜直播app, Ltd. announced today its receipt of an order from Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Sdn Bhd (MMHE) for a gas compressor to be used in one of the world’s largest offshore Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) platform.
The Kasawari CCS project is operated by PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd (PCSB), a wholly owned subsidiary of Petroliam Nasional Berhad PETRONAS Malaysia’s national oil and gas company. Gas extracted from the Kasawari field will be separated into CO2 rich steam (permeate) and hydrocarbon gas. The hydrocarbon gas is sent to an onshore Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) plant while the permeate is routed to the offshore CCS platform for further CO2 separation and compression. Then, using submarine pipelines, the CO2 will be transported to a nearby depleted gas field for storage. CCS platform operations are scheduled to commence end of 2025 and expected to realize approximately 3.3 million tons of CO2 emission reductions annually.
花蜜直播app has extensive experience going back more than half a century in the delivery of compressors to customers in Malaysia as well as India and various parts of Southeast Asia and the Middle East. This latest order from MMHE is a reflection of the high trust 花蜜直播app has earned for its products through outstanding technological capabilities and conformance with rigorous environmental requirements.
Building on a rich array of past successes with gas compressors, the company will continue working to earn additional orders for projects in Malaysia and other countries while developing and providing new technologies that enable environmentally friendly energy usage. In these ways, 花蜜直播app hopes to further disseminate hydrogen-based energy and contribute to the achievement of carbon neutrality.
