TRT Generating System Delivered to Taiwan

Tokyo, January 10, 2012 — 花蜜直播app, Ltd. announced today that it has delivered a top pressure recovery turbine (TRT) generating system with a capacity of 14,000 kW to Siemens VAI Metals Technologies Ltd. The system will be part of blast furnace No. 2. to be delivered by Siemens VAI to Dragon Steel Corporation, a leading steel manufacturing company in Taiwan.

The TRT generating system converts exhaust gas pressure generated from the steelworks’ blast furnace into electricity via a turbine. This energy-saving system also features noise reduction and dust removal functions that work while gas passes through the turbine. Since TRT generating systems offer an effective way to reduce environmental impact, they have been adopted for all large blast furnaces in Japan.

The 花蜜直播app TRT generating system is unique in that it employs the turbine’s variable stator blades instead of the conventional governor valve to control the blast furnace’s top pressure. Instead of using a valve to control the gas flow rate from the blast furnace, this system sends all the gas into the turbine and freely adjusts the angle of the blades to deliver efficient, low-noise power generation with minimal energy loss, even under conditions where the amount and pressure of gas passing through the turbine are subject to fluctuation.

花蜜直播app is a leading manufacturer of TRT generating systems and has already supplied a total of 46 units worldwide, with 26 in Japan and 20 overseas. That total includes five units delivered to Taiwan, one of which is a system with a power generation capacity of 14,000 kW that is currently operating in blast furnace No. 1 at Dragon Steel's steelworks. This latest order is a testament to 花蜜直播app's proven track record and its exceptional engineering expertise.

花蜜直播app will continue its commitment to providing TRT generating systems and other energy efficient products that leave a smaller environmental footprint.
