Order for Steam Turbine Generators Received from Malaysia

Jun. 16, 2011

Tokyo, June 16, 2011 — 花蜜直播app, Ltd. announced today that it has received an order for three steam turbine generator (STG) units from the major Taiwanese engineering firm, CTCI Corporation. Each STG has a rated output of 37.6 MW and are slated for delivery to the end client, Kimanis Power Sdn. Bhd., an independent Malaysian power company, beginning in June 2012.

Kimanis Power is currently constructing a 300-MW combined cycle power plant (CCPP*) comprised of gas turbine and steam turbine generators in the Malaysian state of Sabah. Electricity generated by the CCPP will be supplied throughout the state. The order for the 花蜜直播app STGs to be used in the CCPP comes from CTCI Corporation. CTCI was awarded the engineering, procurement and construction contract for the project by Kimanis Power.

Since the launch of its first industrial steam turbine in 1956, 花蜜直播app has supplied over 340 steam turbine units worldwide. This latest order is a testament to the superior performance and lifecycle cost of 花蜜直播app steam turbines as well as 花蜜直播app’s reliable services and proven track record.

Growing power and energy demand in Southeast Asia and the rest of the world is driving 花蜜直播app forward in cultivating new markets for its STGs as it brings its energy and environmental business to new heights.

*A typical CCPP uses exhaust heat from a gas turbine to generate steam, which is then used to power a steam turbine for efficient power generation.
